People Fighting Cancer Carry More than the Average Share of Stress

Simmons Cancer Center staff members are available seven days a week to help you figure out how to get to your appointments as easily as possible. We offer the online tools below for your information and planning assistance.

Before you leave home, please add our 24-hour HopeLine to your cell phone directory, or just keep the number in your car’s glove compartment: 214-645-HOPE (4673) or toll-free at 866-460-HOPE (4673).

We will be here when you need us.

Finding Your Physician’s Office

UT Southwestern is a large campus, and people sometimes find it intimidating. Generally, your first appointment will take place at the Simmons Cancer Center itself. Treatment facilities and related clinics may be located elsewhere on campus. To help you become familiar with the campus and parking accommodations, we offer an interactive campus map. You may also find our free campus shuttles, which operate all day Monday through Friday, a useful amenity when planning your visits. Valet parking is also available at several buildings.

Driving Directions

Driving on Dallas freeways can be a challenge. If you are not familiar with local freeways and major thoroughfares, we suggest you schedule your initial appointment at a time when you can avoid driving during weekday rush hours. Generally, the morning rush hour is 6:30–9:00 a.m., and the afternoon rush hour is 4:00–6:30 p.m. Also, it is usually a good idea to allow an extra half hour for stress-free driving and parking. Both garage and valet parking are available at Simmons Cancer Center for a small fee, and knowledgeable staff are near the main entrances to help you find your way.
